Statement from Edward Burke Jr., Attorney for Justin Timberlake

We are aware of Mr. Timberlake's arrest on Long Island early Tuesday morning. We understand the seriousness of the allegations and maintain that Mr. Timberlake is innocent .

He looks forward to having his day in court. At this time, we are awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney's office. We will reserve further comment until we have had the opportunity to thoroughly review the evidence .

We ask that the public withhold judgment and respect Mr. Timberlake's privacy during this process.
